When I visited the Loew’s Kings in 2002, it was a majestic ruin, a breath-taking ghost of its former self. It was one of the most impressive sights I’d ever beheld and while I hoped it might be restored one day, I’ll admit that it didn’t seem likely. Oh me of little faith!
